Head down to the bottom of Greys Ave. Before you go into the Civic underground car park, swing a right and you’ve found Basement in the Greys Avenue car park.

Basement is smack bang in the middle of the city, which means heaps of public transport options! Visit the Auckland Transport website to find the best option for you.

“Is parking close?” we hear you say. “Mate we are in the middle of a car park!” we reply. The Greys Avenue Car Park opens at 6pm and costs $10 for the night Monday-Friday. On Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays, it’s open from 6am and has a flat fee of $11.

The machines take credit cards, debit cards and cash. If you need change for the machine come and see us when you arrive. If that’s full then there is the Civic Car Park right next door, Wilson Parking across the road, plus on street parking on Greys Ave.

Basement’s bar is open 5:30pm – late; Tuesday through Saturday.

Basement Theatre have Covid-19 guidelines all ticket holders must follow:

✅  We are currently requiring all audience members to have a valid Vaccine Pass. If you have an expired Vaccine Pass, we recommend that you request a new pass from mycovidrecord.health.nz

😷  Masks must be worn in all inside spaces. You are welcome to remove them when seated to drink and eat!

🎟  Please book your tickets online before you arrive at the theatre, as there will not be a box office at the venue. You will be able to book tickets online right up until showtime

⭐  Head into the theatre when doors open to cut down on crowding in the bar
